so the motor works 100%? it just has the top plastic piece missing?

Yes the motor works 100% fine. Just were the sensor wire plugs in there is a chip in the plastic. I have used the motor like this before and have not had an issue with the sensor wire coming unplugged. Here is a pic since my first pic did not show it well...
