Default 12 Amp 12 Volt Power Supply

Sold. Thanks for your interest!

I have seen lots of people looking for inexpensive power supplies for RC chargers over the years. Converting computer power supplies is a great way to get one, but most people end up not going that way because of all the electronic work involved. So, I have decided to convert some. After conversion, I have tested them under load running chargers for at least an hour. Unfortunately, any warranty that they may have had is voided by the conversion.

This power supply is converted from a USED Codegen 350AX.

This power supply came out of a lightly used desktop that I built for a family member about five years ago. I upgraded the system last year and changed the power supply. This power supply works perfectly; although, the fan is not super quiet.

It has one 80 mm cooling fan.

It is rated at 350 Watts total output.

The 12 Volt rating is 12 Amps & 144 Watts.

After conversion, this power supply runs at 12.42 Volts while at rest.

During testing, I was able to comfortably run 2 chargers with each charging a 2 cell LiPo at a combined charge rate up to 17 amps total. This should be near the practical limit of this power supply.

This unit has one pair of insulated 12 volt output posts installed. They accept 4 mm banana plugs, 4 mm bullet plugs, bare wire or pin/spade plugs. Alligator plugs will work with a piece of wire or metal attached to the post first.

It has rubber feet installed for easy use without scratching your table or sliding around.

I am including a NEW power cord.

Price is $40 shipped USPS Priority Mail.

Lower 48 states only please.

Paypal only please.

Sorry about the double post, but I am having to upload the pics from my cell phone while sitting at the computer. Weird.

High performance chargers can charge LiPos at much higher rates. I have two Team Checkpoint TC-1030 chargers that charge up to 10 amps each. This power supply handled one charging a 2 cell at 7 amps with the second charging a 2 cell at 10 amps. I test all my other power supplies with both chargers running at 10 amps each on 2 cell LiPos.
