I remember it only seems like 5 or 6 years ago (Probably been 10 - 12 in reality) seeing JSBodies for the first time...
Saw some pretty good work in his pics...
I've been playing w/ these stupid lil toy cars about 5 years more than Dado's been alive (If he's 14 that is) and I have to say...if he's got THAT TALENT at 14, and he keeps it up...when he's 20 he'll understand why Charlie Barnes and other charge what they do...
IT'S ART~
However, at the age of 14...at least to my 13 year old son...$25 bucks for a couple DAYS worth of work... is AWESOME (They don't have the knowledge, or overhead to know a GOOD WAGE is 40-60 bucks for an HOUR of work in the real world)
I would say...TAKE Advantage of his talent NOW..maybe even get him to sign a couple...who knows he could be an artist some day and that $25.00 paintjob may be worth MORE~
btw...Nice Paint Dado -

i agree with you guys and thanks for the comments. i will be 15 in less than a month and at this age painting is just something to do (rather than sit here and play computer games). if i were older i would be at the track.

Team Entity - Oh the hypocrisy! On one side of the forum, you ask people not to do exactly what you do on the other side of the forum. There was no need to pimp your bodies on dado's thread.
There was a time when I was in dado's shoes. When I first started painting, I would do simple scheme's for some people that came into the hobby shop I worked at. The only thing they got charged was the body, and the bottles of paint - which I got to keep as my "payment." Go ahead and call that cheap paint work, but it's exactly what I wanted - something to practice on, and then I had left over paint for myself for my next bodies.
You have to start somewhere, and doing this is GREAT practice. If I didn't paint my own bodies, I'd probably be talking to you dado.

WTH?
What the heck is the deal with Team Whats his face? Good work on the bodies Dado. I wish people would pay me for my work - but I dont think I can really compete without using my airbrush more often. I wish you the best of luck - and dont listen to that moron. You are 14 - enjoy yourself and get better at what you love.
