TOTALLY RADICAL Traxxas 4x4 Backslash with carbon fiber chassis.
This is my totally RAD Traxxas 4x4 backslash.
It is a one of kind because it has a custom low center of gravity carbon fiber chassis. It covers most of the bottom of the chassis. this not only makes it great for protection but when in the event of casing a jump or two it recovers quite well. If you have ever caught the lip of a jump with a slash you know what I mean. the back wheels and chassis hang you up and even flip your truck. well this is the solution. also the best part of the chassis is that it Lowers the CG....alot!
the battery, speedo, esc and receiver are all lowered into the tub.
let's now talk about the ESC and Motor. The are almost new. They were installed and raced for one saturday. I know that to be true because that is when I first and only ran this buggy. It was july 2nd 2011. How do I remember this date you asked? because that was the day I had a heart Attack..at the track...running this very car.
just incase you are worried, no it does not have a curse....or does it?
the back slash has:
rpm arms and front bumper
AKA wheel adapters
hobbywing 80a-r esc and 2230kv motor(like new) 2s to 4s capability
hobbywing program card (used once-works fantastic!)
hitec 645mg sevor
motor heatsink fan
proline high down force wing
kyosho 777 wing mounts
kyosho crowd pleaser body
custom carbon fiber lcg chassis
traxxas big bore aluminum shocks
2.4ghz radio and receiver (cheapo kind)
the backslash can be converted back into a truck with some minor parts. i will include the body mounts and front rpm bumper but really, why on earth would you do that.
Look, if you looking for a traxxas backslash with a 1/10th scale velineon setup, you don't want this buggy.......but if you are looking for a totally freakin' radical looking and totally freaikn' radical handling custom backslash with an almost new 2230kv 1/8th scale setup.....well this is probably the buggy you been waitin' for.
yeah I know i ve seen backslashes of all kinds for sale.....ones with better shocks and platinum upgrades and stuff......all those parts can be purchased just about everywhere. there is nowhere you can purchase this baby.
you get everything in the picks. what this buggy needs is up to you. you can upgrade it further if you like or keep it just the way it is.
this buggy is not and was not intended to be a shelf queen. There are minor bumps and scatches in it and some screws might need replaced but that is with all used vehicles....all!
i love this buggy but i need the money more.

forgot to mention that the chassis does not add that much more weight...only about 4 ounces. not a bad trade off if you asked me.
