Default Tamiya F201 - awesome - just needs receiver

Tamiya BMW Williams F201

Professionally built and cared for. Ran 2 race days (ran out of time to race it this summer).

- Enough parts to build 2 cars (includes 2 chassis, etc)
- Body included
- Bearings were all cleaned out and oiled - tranny is super free.
- Diffs are super smooth

- 3 x 6-cell stick packs
- JR Z590M servo
- Novak Fusion Speed Control
- sport tuned mabuchi motor

- Trick suspension arm mounting system to make sure the arms do not move-in/strip out of the tranny case.

- Aluminum rocker arms
- Aluminum shock bodies
- Optional shock pistons
- Front universals
- All screws replaced with hex-head screws (no phillips head screws!)
- Tie-rods replaced with Lunsford titanium turn-buckles
- High speed AND low speed gear sets
- aluminum motor mount

- two sets of brand new Pit Shimizu tires
- 2 sets of mounted tires
- 2 sets of extra rims
- 4 sets of suspension arms
- 1 set of reinforced lower front arms
- 1 set, NIP spring set
- at least 3 sets of opened spring sets
- lightened gear sets
- extra aluminum motor mount
- adjustable aluminum motor mount (allows different gearing to be used)
- RC imports aluminum spur gear mount

Other spare parts such as plastic shock bodies, shock shafts, plastic pieces, screw kits, gears, differentials.

$310 shipped (that may seem steep but remember, there are enough parts to build 2 cars, plus all the spare parts and hopups that are included). Email me at: [email protected]

I took pics and am working on getting them on here. In the meantime, I can email you pics if interested.

Professionally built? Does that mean you paid someone to build it for you?

Nope. I built it, but anyone that has raced with me knows that I build things the right way. I made the top 10 in 1/12th scale last year at the Cleveland US Indoor Champs, so I can somewhat drive and the car didn't ping-ping off the boards around the track. LOL!

To give some history, I purchased a new BMW Williams kit last year and raced that box-stock last summer in a F1 team series (my team finished first ). I then came across a car a guy had built but never raced and figured it would be good to have another car. So, I bought that one and that is what I put together for this summer. However, due to work and other circumstances (ie: weddings) I have only been able to hit the track twice. So, I figured someone else might as well get some use out of the car.

The only thing the car should have done is have the front upper and lower arms replaced. Since I wasn't going to race much, I ended up just taking the arms off of my old F201 car in order to preserve the new arms. I have plenty of spare arms plus a set of the reinforced lower arms.
