He's got 170 positive feedback, if he's says it's brand new in the box you can probably take his word for it

Iv'e put this off but I feel the need to report that the radio I paid for was in fact used. Used in the sense that it had two models installed, the receiver case had a broken tab and servo tape residue on the bottom and the bind plug was not included. Not exactly NIB. (it also came in the wrong box) The seller was apologetic and offered a refund but I just sold it locally, broke even and got the bad taste out of my mouth. If the description was more accurate like ( has models programmed and has been installed and bench tested but never run ) that would have been more acceptable. The seller and I exchanged some emails so he understands it's just a matter of using more correct descriptions. Simple.

If it's not NIB it's not NIB. So you would be okay getting a new radio from LHS or a warehouse in this condition??????? You must be a buddy of his.

dont even know the guy ,never even bought from him, but i know if i was selling something new i would deff. test it before i would send it out because u can get a faulty radio unit straight from the manufacturer and if u sell a broken radio unit well u got a headace on ur hand right??
i believe if u want something bnib buy from the local lhs and get a reciept because if its dead out of box u can return it

Shouldn't have to test a NIB item. Do the LHS and warehouses do that? Anyway he replied to the post and the parties involved seem okay.

Well i guess its my turn to get the Sh^^%$t kicked out of me. Read the description of him and me.What else can i do,I wanted to make it right. And yes it was never used as far as running a vehicle. And im sorry about leaving you feedback i thought i did. So you can leave the feedback you think is right for you.And i will be fine with that.

Perhaps the description could have been better. But, he has great feedback and has addressed the issue in here. We all make mistakes and I get no sense he was trying to be slick. Comon guys, I just bought a 3s and it has scratches, nicks and dings. IT'S used!!! It works great and will serve me well. If you want new, there's hobby shops that would love to have your money. You're going to scratch them anyway when YOU use them aren't you? And to sell it because it wasn't exactly what you wanted? I don't understand.
