Default FS: Xray XB808e 808e 808

SOLD

I'm selling my Xray XB808e. This is the factory XB808e not a converted car. It only has one practice day and two race days on it. I am in the middle of a total tear down and clean up on it so I will post pictures in a couple days when i get it completed and reassembled. Car will come freshly rebuilt with fresh shock and diff oils, fresh diff pinion bearings, and any other bearings that need attention will be replaced with new as well. Will also include a completed setup sheet so you know where everything is set. I built the car using the 2009 bulk heads/pinion bearings/bearing spacers because I had a stock pile of the 2009 bearings from my other 808's and the 2009 style had proven to be very reliable for me. Only real difference is the bearing size for the pinion gears. I will include the kit 2010 style bulkheads/pinion bearings/bearing spacers with the car so you could change to them if you wanted. Also included is a set of the stiffer Blue-Grey springs that some people like for ths buggy.

I am willing to sell it either ARTR (would need radio, Rx and lipo batterys) or as a roller.

$650 ARTR it would come with:
  • Complete Car with everything that came in the box with the original kit and an extra set of the stiffer shock springs.
  • Tekin RX8 (Updated with the new boards and new 3 hole case)(will come with instruction sheet)
  • Tekin 1900kv T8 motor (could change it out for a 1400kv Tekin motor instead if preferred)
  • Airtronics 94359 steering servo
  • Crime Fighter tires/wheels ( brand new never run)

$400 Roller
Complete roller chassis only. Comes with everything that came in the original kit box and the extra blue-grey springs.

This is a picture from a few weeks ago. I will get current and more detailed pictures posted as soon as I have it back together this weekend. Car is in good shape with not much run time on it. Nothing wrong with it. Runs great and drives great. I just have way to many 1/8 buggies at the moment (this is my 3rd 808) and I need some cash right now, so I am selling it. Great car. You will be very happy with the purchase.

Some updated pictures. Took these this afternoon after I got done with the rebuild and clean up. Thing looks like a new car. All new oils in the diffs and shocks and all pinion and wheel bearings were replaced with new. As it sits right now its ready to hit the track once you add a receiver and radio.

Let me know if you have any questions.

One note on the 1900 motor. The nut from the mud guard was hitting the bottom of the motor and rubbed the color off and put a ding in it. No issue with function and installed you can't see it cuz its on the bottom, but thought I would at least mention it so nobody was surprised. I replaced the nut that came in the kit with a shorter one and shorter screw so it should clear now without rubbing on the motor. Kinda goofy that they designed it that way, but I guess no kit is perfect.
