FS: NIP Plettenberg Extreme 1/10 brushless motor
I have 1 of these premium German brushless motors left. 4 pole (drives more like a brushed motor), high efficiency, rebuildable, and currently selling for about $250 online. I'll let this last one go for $160 shipped.

Kv=4600rpm/v. These motors are known for their great efficiency (85-90%) and smoothness. They were legendary back when the euro was alot closer in value to the dollar. Now most can't justify the $250 they go for these days. I believe max rpm is spec'd out in the 60-65k range. It's a good 2S offroad motor, and I would not recommend running it over 3S. It will also handle 20 minute mains on 2S8000mah lipos without overheating.

Well...the site actually says the rotor is rated to 80k rpms, but I still say keep it at 2-3S for the best efficiency.

Guess everyone's content with cheap Chinese motors these days.

They may have only came in 3rd at the World Cup, but they still make the best brushless motors.

Not sure how to PM pics. It's the 1/10 offroad motor. The other ones are the Indoor for indoor carpet racing and the Shadow for 1/10 onroad.

I can snap a pic of mine here if absolutely necessary, but it's all sealed up in the retail packaging.

Oh...and for those that do remember, this is my old screen name before I started Starluck RC.....the original home of brushless way back in 2001.
