Default Gorgeous vintage Kyosho Optima Mid RTR

I'm thinning the vintage herd a bit in order to make room for some newer stuff. This car just sits on a shelf, but is ready to run. Just add 6cell nicd or nimh battery. Everything works beautifully and the car is extra clean to boot. Shocks have smooth action, belt drive is smooth as well as the diffs. Nothing is bent or broken.

Included:

Extremely nice condition Optima Mid

Fully ball raced

Reproduction body/wing with reproduction decals (painted/trimmed by me)

Vintage Team Checkpoint 16t double motor

Vintage Futaba Magnum PCM1024 radio in great shape w/Hitec receiver and s148 servo (tx includes rechargeable nicd batter pack) Still has all access doors and even the little adjuster screwdriver. An extra set of crystals is also included.

Vintage Tekin Speedstar TSC412p speed control (original heatsinks also included, but don't fit under the body)

Original LeMans 240ST motor (not in car)

$325 OBO (trades only considered for an SC8e)

That. Is... AWESOME.

FWIW, the radio alone is worth 200 of his asking.

About what year is that from? Very nice, free bump and best of luck with the sale (wish I had the extra $$ to invest).

I was thinking the same thing. I ALWAYS wanted one of those 20 years ago when was a just a youngster rocking a Magnum Jr.

A++ on the Optima...she's clean!

i was collecting these for some time. them tires alone are prob worth 150 then the shocks at least 100 and the bumper maybe 40- 50 .
anyways im sure you know. bump for a sweet vintage ride. I slapped a 5700 mamba and mamba max in one of mine and that thing was flying.

They simply do not make cars like they used to. That thing is BEAUTIFUL. Wow...you should totally keep it. Wow. I wish I didn't have 2 mortgage payments. Awesome.

I used to drool over the Tower catalogs as a kid in the 80's. I also have these, although not for sale...yet:

I had that exact same car.

Also, a Javelin.

I wish I still did...

Bump

I'll also entertain trades for 1/8 scale brushless motor/esc combos plus cash since I already have an SC8e roller coming.
