Default Team AE On-Road Car - 1/10th scale

No idea which model this might be, but it's stamped AE on the chassis. I took it in trade a few months ago. Comes with an Impala Body, but no radio setup. $90 shipped

Hmmm....that I was unaware of. Maybe I should toss this one back on the shelf then! Thanks guys.....I'm not schooled in the Vintage RC Stuff. It's in great shape too....My 4 year old hit a rock and the shock end popped off. You can see it sitting on the chassis. Other than....runs and drives great.

Don't let your 4yr old drive it and bust it up if you plan on selling it. How does the bottom of the chassis look?

Well I was taking it for a test drive and he wanted to try it. The radio end points were set so far in...it was only going @ 5mph ;-) He just drove it for a few minutes and hit a rock in our driveway. No biggie. Underside looks nice as well. Guess I didn't take a picture of that ;-)

That chassis alone would bring some pretty good money on ebay.

A lot of companies made aftermarket graphite chassis for the car to replace the stock gold pan back in the day but the AE branded one is hard to come across.

Yeah I saw one on eBay (full car) for like $200+. It's a bit insane. I traded a Mac DVD Drive worth @ $100 for it. So it was a decent trade I suppose....lol

Bottom of the chassis looks barely scratched, although there looks to be some "extra" holes it in. Not sure if that is from the onroad conversion or not...they almost look like they belong there. I'll snap a pic and post it up when I get the chance.

some interesting coments here, for starters only mint cars command top prices 350-550 and every imperfection/scratches knocks the price right down. your car has holes drilled in the motor plate, anodising missing off the shocks, wrong wheels and im sure a few scratches under and on top of the chassis. what your asking is around the correct money for a rc10 graphite buggy.

I'm not saying he'll get good money for the car. I'm talking about the chassis alone. As long as there aren't a bunch of extra holes in it. To get the most out of that car it will have to be parted out because of the motor plate, wheels, etc.
