38" U-41 Dumas Atlas Van Lines Hydroplane
this is the U41 Wood Kit from the mid 80's this was completely built out of wood, and epoxy. Boat has the original Running hardward, and a brand new #2356 Dumas Running hardware kit, with motor mount... no radio or engine. boat was originally set up for a .40 engine. i have had a .40 and a .65 in this boat.. with the .65 this thing went about 80mph.. Need to be refinshed, I sanded it down and removed the old finish.. need to put hardware and radio in and apply a couple more coats of resin then paint it... all the hard work is done, building one of these wood boats is no small chore.. just need to finish it up and you will have a totally sweet boat.. with a .40 it should run about 50 mph... has prop, and 2 different style of rudders and water pick-ups..
New Hardware Kit was bought in 1990 for 86.00... it is still available through dumas, for 108.00..
I would like to trade for a new dirt buggy. XXX Bk2, or B4 or XXX-4.. or make me an offer... email me at [email protected]
