Default HB D8 Team Car Lots of upgrades!!!

If anyone is considering buying a D8 and upgrading it to top notch race condition, please go PM. I am going to let my car go at a price which is prob. close to half of what the parts alone cost, and throw in a bunch of extra's. I may be switching to another teamm, and I need the funds to be able to get started. I wont list all of the upgrades here, as it would be too time consuming, bbut will upon request. The car is absolutely dialed, and has all of the important upgrades to lighten and strengthen it, while being very well-maiintained. I also have more than enough parts to create a second car which I will incllude, 2 chassis, full set of shocks, towers, diffs + driveline, hardware, everything. Like I said, tons of extra stuff. custom bodies... One was a finalist the concourse at the Tamiya Spring Challenge...

Someone is going to make out like a bandit. I just need to make it happen this week if possible. Please PM me, or email.

Thanks,

J

Default Sorry bout the delay...

Sorry for the delayed response, but had to go to work on my day off today... I gathered up all (or at least most of...) my stuff, and now if I could just get the photos off of my camera onto this computer...

keeps saying "USB device not recognized..."

and the funny thing... I broke the latch on the battery/memory card slot door, and had to CA it to get it to stay closed... I just figured it would always be a 1GB camera, and I'd have to clear the pics off when it was full but... It won't read, either because this is a blackberry data cable, and not the one made for the camera... or its' just a bad connection, or camera software issue, etc... Last ntime I just pried the damn thing open and pulled the card out and it read just fine in the mmc slot. hmm.. maybe I can get it open again... I used AKA tire glue this time, and a lot more of it! Just dont want to break the cam... oh well.. whats it worth otherwise?>

Here goes!

Heh, got it! Alright!

Default price

I'm not sure... I was thinking I'd start it off around $500-$550 and see what kind of offers I get. If you want to make an offer, just PM me, don't post it here. If you want more pics or detailed pics of any item(s) please send your email address so I can email directly. (BTW, electronics not included)

Here's a list of most of the upgraded parts...

Lightened alum. HB parts:
steering posts
ackerman bushings
center outdrives
Diff gears F/C/R
shock stand-offs
wheel hex's
brake cams
Milled Chassis
Carbon fiber ackerman
Extended rear shock tower

Other:
TKO Ceramic bearings used throughout
Lunsford titanium steering turnbuckles
WB's (ACE) shock towers Fr. and Rear
Wb's (ACE) Carbon 5mm front and rear shock towers (Light)
Brake springs (to reduce drag, and improve braking efficiency)
Tank mod - losi fuel line w/ reinforced tube
Kyo steering rod ends w/ capture washers to prevent rubbing/pop-offs
lightened hardware (shorter where appplicable to reduce weight) and button head used instead of cap in some instances.
Shorter rear turnbuckles used with lightning 2 stadium upper links (to reduce weight - see hara's car at worlds)
L2 Pro aluminum rear hubs w. set screws
