2ffu , that’s a shame your selling the cat, you really had done quite allot to it. Well hopefully if you get are able to buy another 4wd some day, you will get the new cat.

Michael, did you know a new cat will be coming out?

Can’t wait, even though I love my cat I would still like to see some changes.

O.k. cat owners, the screws that hold the front and rear shock towers to the bulkhead come loose after every run, what do you guys do to solve this, or is the just a problem I’m having?
Also I’m having to run my tensioner at the very bottom/tightest setting so avoid skipping, is this causing allot more friction. Is it better to loosen it and get more skipping but less friction?? When I role the car w/o the pinion it still seems very free, but what are your guys opinions on this?

Also I destroyed and outdrive on my blade the other day. I noticed one of the blades was torn and I was going to replace it for the next run but forgot. Well the blade went and than the cvd destroyed the outdrive. No big deal though,I found I had some steel outdrives from an older fireblade that I put on. I somehow overlooked them in my parts container, but was happy to have them.

Well I realized why my pulley guides on the rear diff were worn. I hadn’t put it together until the other day, when I realized one of the ACER bearing on the diff outdrive seized up at the track and the inside diameter somehow distorted getting smaller. This slight change in diameter lowered the guides so they were rubbing on the chassis. Well ACER replaced the bearing with there one there best which was one up and the problem went away.

Glypo, tell me more about the menace, where are you driving it, can it handle jumps and how does it handle?
