yeah, paypal ruled in my favor as they did with another guy who "bought" the same transponder but, gee, no money in the guy's paypal account.

nope, if you're money is already spent, you're out of luck. they can only take it from a balance which sucks cuz what's the first thing they do? they spend your money....

That is why I always use a credit card thru Pay Pal! Pay Pal may find in my favor, but they wont pay me my money back. I called my credit card company and they took all his info from me and they told me this will be credited back to your account and we will go after the seller. They have all the $ for lawyers! They will get his a$$ even if he lives in Canada! Josh Kent will get his from Capital One! They dont mess around. if you read this Josh, get ready for a court appearence! Capital One is comin to get you!!! You screwed with the wrong credit card company! Hope you can afford the best lawyer in Canada, cause your gonna need it.

that cant be right...

i lost $1000 over an ebay scam through paypal. They payed me, i got the money, tranferred the balance to my bank, let it clear through my bank, then shipped the laptop (a $2000 laptop mind you)...days later after the laptop was long the transaction got investigated and they drew my balance into negative and was forced to pay it. I made the mistake of shipping to the wrong address so it was techincally my fault, but they took money from my paypal when it was at a 0 balance...

F N CUDA, I will definitely keep you posted. If I get his info such as home address or something, I will let it out for all to see! You can bet your A$$ on that! I cant stand a$$holes like this guy! All we can hope is that someone else where he lives will see this and know who it is and fill us in! I am pretty sure that the credit card company should be able to track him down thru his email addy. I hope so! Plus he had to transfer the money to his bank account. Pay Pal should be able to get him! If they sent him a check, they should easily be able to track that as well. They should definitly be able to get ahold of him. I guess it is whether or not they wan to spend the time.

GUESS WHAT GUYS,
Paypal recovered 52 bucks and change of my 60 from this friggin IDIOT!
He must have scammed someone else on the same paypal account and they pulled it and gave it to me?????????

Here's what they wrote to me:
Dear Craig Hammon,

We have concluded our investigation into your case and have decided in your
favor.

We were able to recover $52.14 USD and this amount has been credited to
you. Please allow five business days for this adjustment to be posted.

If you are due any additional funds, we will make our best effort to
recover the balance from the seller.

If the seller's account has insufficient funds to complete the refund owed
to you, please be assured that we will take appropriate action against the
seller's account, which may include limitation of the seller's account
privileges.

JUST WHEN I THOUGHT I GOT HOSED!
