My Paypal is only a personal account and they will not allow the free personal accounts to accept credit or debit cards. Many people have been able to transfer or add funds to their Paypal balance and then paid me from that balance. If that's undesirable for you then I can also accept a money order.

It has to be from a Paypal balance or a linked bank account because I am not allowed to accept payment from credit or debit cards.

I see no difference, but it isn't my rule. I'd love to accept credit cards with my "free" account ( I can by paying 5 or 6 %) . All the rules are on Paypal's site.

Its true Frank... (well, sort of) I have a personal account myself. It limits you to selling things to $500 a month, but it will allow you to accept CC payment. Only thing is you get rocked with a 4.9 charge if you do either. (ever notice I only put up no more than 5 PT's at a time )

Mine has no limit anymore, but the CC does have a limit of maybe 5 per year and the extra charge. I reserve those 5 for high dollar items.
