so the Spektru still has the module just not the reciever? Does it power on and work?

its a spektrum radio, and doesn't have a module, its built in, and non-swappable. and it still completely works.

2 Questions...

Sorry for my ignorance but your spectrum DX3.0 looks different that the DX3s that I see on the track (see photo). Is this an older model?

2) I don't care about the look but, would it work if I buy a newer DX 3.0 receiver?

I know now that I can buy a receiver and make it work. I still have that question about older look of the transmitter and its compatibility with the new staff.
