Default Goodbye R/C! Sale - Savage/ Hyper 7/ Vintage/ electronics

All items located in Richmond Hill, Ontario - About 10 minutes north of the GTA.

Anywho, down to business...

So, after being out of the scene for 2-3 years and attempting to get back into it, it seems as though the government screwed up my tax return somehow and I now owe them quite a fair bit of money... So I am forced to sell off a lot of my R/C collection which I had built up over the years.

Let the pictures speak for themselves...

Picked it up last month - HPI Savage SS, Sirio .27 Pro (3.1hp/ 39,000rpm), has some hop-ups which I really couldn't tell you about, I bought the truck as it is right now, ran 2 tanks through it still breaking it in (has like 7 tanks total now), and parked it a few weeks ago. Motor ran great, didn't go past half throttle, but up until that, it was pretty nice considering it's got a 18T CB on it :P Look at the pics and spot the hop-ups, I really couldn't tell you what they were as I didn't put them on and have been out of the scene for a while. Airtronics MX-3 receiver with a high-torque servo for the steering (I'll try to find out make/model from the previous owner), and has a nice little battery meter on top to show you how much battery life you have left. Anything else just ask:

All my electronics. Airtronics MX-3 transmitter, has a set of Sanyo 1600mAh Ni-Mh cells in the pack too, I used them for the first time in like 3 years and they seemed to work just fine, used them for about 45 minutes – 1 hour. 75mhz FM. The green & ribbed red igniters haven’t been tested, they have their own chargers though, but I don’t think they’ve been used in like a year. Ni-Cd cells. The red anodized aluminum one with the glow plug/ battery life indicator is brand new. Opened it up a few weeks ago to charge, and used it the day after for those couple of tanks in the Savage. Works well (Y) Has it’s own charger too. Also have a backup igniter that just takes a D cell to work.

Got those two 2000mAh 7.2v battery packs in the deal, never used them, never tried them, they are Ni-Cd and have a charger as well. One charger is 9.6v the other is 7.2v, I’d probably just stick to using the 7.2v one lol. Also some no-name starter box, single 750 sized motor, haven’t tried it as I don’t have a spare 12v cell laying around with a charge, not like you’d need it for the Savage, just throwing it in there for the deal. I don’t see why it wouldn’t work, motor spins freely, and has the clamp leads to use a 12v cell with it. Also have a multi-purpose charger with selectable charging rates. Right now it’s got the plugs to charge the transmitter with, either to plug right into the back of it, or remove the battery pack and plug it in directly. I think I have spare leads to hook up any sort of connector you want as well, I’m sure it’s in a box somewhere lol. Also have one of those cheapo 50$ temp gauges, but hey it works fine, battery is running low on it though, but still works. Also pictured is the charger for the Ni-Mh receiver packs in the Savage and the Hyper 7. Both packs do not need to be removed in order to charge, you just plug them in right in the car.

Next is some spare parts and tools. Got a set of 1.5/2/2.5mm Integy Allen drivers in a nice anodized finish. Also a Dynamite 2.5mm driver as well with a really nice anodized grip finish too. And RPM 1.2/2mm drivers, and a ball-head 3/32” driver as well. Also a set of flip out Allen keys that range from like 1.5mm to 6mm I believe. And some various spare parts for I assume the Savage or maybe some other truck, just look at the pics you can see it all. Also a couple extra sets of Savage chassis plates, they are 2 different sets, not sure what the difference is in stance, but one thicker than the other, and the thicker set is also on the Savage right now. A whole bunch of fluids as well, have a look at the pics. And also a set of small screw drivers and hex nut wrenches and such.

As far as price goes for all this stuff, I'd prefer to sell it along with the Savage if someone wants it, and just make an offer for all of it. If I still have this stuff when the Savage is gone, I'll just make up a price then.

Comes with a nice carrying case and such for all your stuff:

http://xs216.xs.to/xs216/07231/RCSaleJune32007-24.jpg

Disassembled Hyper 21 that was seized. Previous owner had ran it and parked it for about a year without any ARO in it. Rust pretty much everywhere that it could be (All steel parts – bearings, crank, etc). Also has those mounts, they were in the Hyper 7 in the later pics. Cooling head and block and some other parts should still be good though. Carb as well.

http://xs216.xs.to/xs216/07231/RCSaleJune32007-28.jpg

Tons of spare parts, washers, screws, nuts, linkages, gears, etc etc etc etc etc lol. Look at the pics carefully for everything. Have the carrying case for the Sirio as well, nice to haul around some small support equipment for the cars. Savage manual, and just under a gallon of 3 weeks ago purchased Sidewinder 30%/10% fuel & filler bottle.

Again, I'd just like to keep this stuff around until the Savage is gone, so no price on it just yet.

Next up we have a Hyper 7 rolling chassis with everything other than a motor. Let the pics speak for themselves. Has 2 sets of extra wheels and tires, and a spare set of wheels waiting for a set of tires to be thrown on. Has a black wing, blue painted wing, and a fluorescent yellow wing too. Jammin’ JP-2 pipe, and also I threw in a stock plastic Savage pipe with a header on there lol.

http://xs216.xs.to/xs216/07231/RCSaleJune32007-40.jpg

And then there are some more spare parts. A set of brand new 1/10 stadium truck dishes with on-road tires. A set of Dirt Hawgs that are nicely used, and a set of some weird ass wheels/ tires that came on Tamiya’s Stadium Raider electric TL-01 truck lol. There are Lego tracks glued to them to give them a larger diameter to cheat and get some more high end LOL. Don’t ask :P And also I’m pretty sure there are enough parts there to make like 2 HPI .25’s out of the Savage SS’, it’s all disassembled as you can see.

Some random fuel tubing and clips lol:

http://xs216.xs.to/xs216/07231/RCSaleJune32007-47.jpg

Everything you see in this post, including the Stadium truck wheels/ tires and all those spare Savage S25 motor parts (As far as I remember, enough parts to build at least 1-2 motors), can be yours for only 250$! If you don't want the JP-2 pipe, I'll knock 50$ off the deal and we'll call it an even $200 with the plastic pipe and BOTH headers.

NOWWWWW comes the fun stuff :P lol. Basically all this stuff is here for Cook’s Racing/ Delta P4’s. Don’t ask how I got these, it’s a long story. I’ve had them for about 3-4 years now and never really did anything with them. It’s AWD, belt driven. You can see the layout of the drivetrain in the pics and such. Pretty lightweight, aluminum/ CF or some sort of composite material lol. More wheels and tires than you will ever need and spare parts to build like another 50 of these lol. Engine mounts, gears, pullies, flywheels, clutches, springs/ shocks, linkages, etc etc. Look at the pics. They take .21 sized blocks. Enjoy:

I would really prefer to sell all this stuff at once, however I understand the chances of that are slim to none. Maybe if you find a couple buddies or something to split between all you guys, that’d be a pretty good idea for me lol. Price wise, I’d really like to get about 1,500$ for all this stuff (this is A LOT of stuff!), however that is negotiable, and I guess I’d be willing to part some stuff out. Just make me some offers and nothing reasonable will be refused. Thanks for looking!

P.S. - There is a bunch of other small stuff that I’m sure I missed out and forgot about that I will include in the sale once I remember. I’m just trying to make back some cash to pay the government and to free up some space in my basement. Thanks!

Located in Richmond Hill.

Just make me an offer on this stuff, I'm looking to get around $300, but any reasonable offer will be definitley considered!

How about 400$ for the Savage stuff?

These are all in Canadian funds too keep in mind. Just make me an offer on the Savage/ Hyper 7/ vintage stuff and perhaps we can work something out.
