Be sure you are totally drunk when you paint, that way the result looks REALLY good.

Actually, just take your time and use common sense.

HAHAHA the state of mind is criticle.

I have found some colors work well with no thinning, and others with thinning. But do take your time.

That is very true, it seems that the darker the color, the thicker it is.

I've heard of people doing that, but I don't see the point. With paint, I can't see how adding more chemicals is a good thing.

Default faskolor

Bought and used faskolor red and have been disappionted with the results. The red colour is very flat and dull. What colour/colours could i mix with the red to brightern it up and make future bodyshells stand out from the crowd.

You will need to use many coats to get fastcolor to pop out in brightness. Then back with white.

To dull a color, mix in the contrasting color; for red, use green.
To brighten a color, mix in the complimentary color; for red, use orange or yellow.

Get yourself a copy of a color wheel, they are good tools to have.

Unhappy problem with faskoat

Hi guys,
I've been doing airbrushing for a while, and I'm still fresh in certain areas & technics in painting r/c bodies. I'll like to take this opportunity to thank EVERYONE for their tips & comments that I have pick from them...... thank you.
Lately I've encounter a problem with 'Faskoat'. I have no problem with all my fascolor except for Faskoat. The 1st bottle i've own dried up after 20% of useage. Thinking I've left the cap loose, I have no choice but to buy a new bottle. Now it start to dry up again (20% of useage)!!!When I squeeze it out, it looks like toothpaste....but after I have thin it with water, it looks like glue with lots of bubbles.... and it is very difficult to spary, and often clogged my 0.5mm nozzle. Does anyone came across this before???
What should i do??? Pls HELP.....
Btw, the cap on the bottle is tight.

Thanks for your comments & help.....

Cheers.....

FasKoat is a bitch to deal with. It dries very fast, though I haven't had mine dry in the bottle...

You have to use it to spray FasGlitter, and that sucks. The glitter settles to the bottom of the cup too fast, and the Koat dries in the brush. Just have to be careful, and ready to tear down your brush.

i had the sameexperience with the faskoat. i wanted to spray some glitter but it was dry. i ended up mixing the glitter with fasflip something and it worked a treat. i haven't had the body out in the sun yet to see if the fasflipshows up in the glitter.
