Default masking tape...does it pull off paint

I have mostly used LM in the past and I am experimenting with masking tape. If I mask over a color I already sprayed..will it pull the paint off or will it be alright once it's dried?

Thanks

I use a hair dryer in between and have had no issues with paint peeling.i had to buy a high grip because it came in 3" wide instead of my normal green masking tape and had no issues using auto air and faskolors

Woody, look for 3M purple tape for delicate surfaces. It is very low tack and can be used to mask over paint.

I've used blue tape over lexan paint and it was also fine. Just make sure your paint has cured minimum 24hrs before you tape over it.
