is it possible for someone else to take over managing this thread.....

After one too many "just paint what you like"....ooohhhh I don't like that..... and $30??? how about $10, and use lots of chrome, I AM DONE.

I started taking orders for paint jobs because I enjoyed it, now it is something with no enjoyment factor at all.

Yeah I know what you mean. Some of these guys we paint for really need to chill. It really does take skill. I myself am starting to step back from painting for people. I have found I had more fun taking a body and just painting it up to have some fun and be creative. Then selling it to anyone that would pay what I wanted for it. Try that, much less stress with dead lines

I totally understand what you mean....with my full time 60+ hour job, a wife, 2 dogs, wrenching on my own car, and having a life outside of RC - sometimes painting can be a pain -

that is when i step back and stop taking orders - i started painting b/c i loved the creative outlet it gave me, but sometimes i had anywhere from 5-15 bodies in the pipeline to paint, and it takes the fun out of it....so i have started taking less and less orders and i am now enjoying painting more b/c i don't have the stress of deadlines and such....

my $0.02

I for one that has purchased a body from both Dodgeguy and BritRacer would like to say that you guys have done nice work for me and I would like to see you guys stay around and be able to do more work for people that know what there looking for and continue to do some awsome work. I'm in no way a painter and would never claim to be one and dont know where your comeing from but if your not haveing fun with it anymore then I hope you guys will come back and do some more work in the future for us.

Hey Guys,
My name's Nick. I live near Toronto and I am a airbrusher out of FastCats. I've done several bodies, if you want to take a look you can find me off of the FastCats main webpage, at www.fastcats.ca or email me at BawdyShop@hotmail.com.

McGoo rules but I paint too just in case he says he's too busy with his dogs or wife or something... I have no digital camera other than my phone so the pics on the site are as good as they get for right now. I'll get a good one eventually but i need to paint a few more bodies!
