Default Faskolor - Faslucent Transparency

Good morning,

I am using Faskolor paint, and I would like to make more transparent the Faslucent paint for body shell windows...

The Faslucent paint look great but the finish is more opaque than clear.

The brand "Autoair" made a "Transparent Base" ( 4004 ) to increase transparency without significantly lowering viscosity for their paint.

Do you know a same kind of product for Faslucent to recommend ? Or do you know a method to do it easily ?

Thanks a lot.

I don't know of anything by faskolor that makes that. If you're tinting windows I would go with a "candy" color by autoair or any other brand paint. Candy colors are pretty much transparent like looking through a clear tinted glass.

Transparent isn't as clear as a candy color.

AutoAir also makes a whole range of colors in their Transparent Series. Createx also.

Transparent lacquers work really well! RCS, Spaz Ano's, Alclad.

Glad I saw this... I have a bottle of faslucent yellow and fastint that I haven't used yet.

I will second the candy colors, then. I would always use candy yellow from Spaz Stix out of a can for this purpose.

Yeah...but be weary of what transparent means. I used some "transparent" black on something which ended up blacking out what I wanted tinted. I think it was wicked paints.

I use that same "transparent" bottle as a back up when I run out of opaque black.

I noticed that with Wicked transparents as well. I tried the transparent white and its more opaque the Createx opaque white.
