OK, lets try this posting in the correct forum...

New Z28, anybody run this yet that can provide some feedback on how it works? Did you use the full size wing height or cut it down to 10mm?

Could be another week or 2 before we can race at our new track site and looking for some input before it goes on track.

Next to a Bitty design M15 (BMW M5) with similar paint scheme.

Looks fast with the long hood. In my case I don't think it'll have enough front bite with cab back Camaro design. Big splitter helps but won't be enough turn in for me, I think. Probably will try and report back. Rear bite is always adjustable with wing placement and type.

Is it another listed 190mm body that's a 200mm?

Oh, that is PURDY! I bet you will really like that new Z28 body with the front splitter. Should work as good, if not better than the Caddy.

Looks great! You are an artist....

So we've got a race the weekend before Thanksgiving that is being held at Auto Club Speedway (California Speedway) in conjunction with a NISSAN track day and car show..

So the r/c portion of the event is also ALL DATSUN/NISSAN

We're running out VTA class w/ Vintage Datsun Bodies only - and a GT class w/ only Nissan bodies..and we've even thrown a 235mm Pan Car class together w/ NISSAN GTP bodies...

a buddy of mine hooked me up with a vintage style Datsun 240 Z body - but it's the Tamiya "RALLY" body - so it is a little off and I ended up butchering the rear wheel wells -- but it's all good, this will be a really FUN day of racing w/ all the other activities going on around us.

ARTIST?....not by a long-shot, but thanks for the compliment. I found that the ZL1 worked very well and the bigger splitter on the Z28 should provide a bit more down force. Looking forward to seeing how the trimmed down rear wing works.

Nutdriver, got the Bittydesign body off ebay from China, came quickly and got the light weight version. Works pretty good, I'm a bit of a non-conformist so I'm avoiding running the LTC-R for that reason......and because everyone else here runs it. So far I've noticed that the Bitty body is not holding me back from being competitive.

How do you like the MTS FF? Did you weigh it yet? I run a FF03R in USGT and it does pretty well.

I have a MTS FF pro and run it in out Scale Spec class. (Alberta Canada Version of USGT). With a shorty Lipo it weighs 1180g, with a Low profile shorty (2s pack in a 1s case) it weighs 1123g. It does all right if the track in open, if it has a lot of tight 180s it gets killed by the 4wds. On my home club track (5 rolls of carpet) it is a weapon, but when i went to a big Race in Calgary (3 rolls of carpet0 it was killed by the 4wds.

It seems like usgt bodies are becoming more and more like the typical tc boidies.

Winter is here, so we are done racing in Flagstaff for the Winter. There is a new club and track in Phoenix. Very nice outdoor asphalt track. The East Valley RC Racers are off to a great start. New bodies for the new track....

Going for a family look on USGT and VTA.....

Just the protoform bodies. .... they look much like touring car bodies. I fear they will ruin the class.
I run a McAlister Daytona Prototype Vette...looks unlike all of the blob cars on the track.

How does the dtp vette handle? Very interested in that body but nearly all the local guys run nsx or the Pf bodies
