Pretty random question.

Does anyone know of any companies world wide that do lexan molding and production? i am looking a large quanties, maybe 1000+ to start with.

Somthing that has had expierience in RC bodies or wings would be a bonus

Im just trying to get some idea on production runs and cost.

I can tell you that if you want to have someone design and mold a rc body for you, expect roughly $5000-8000 to get it done if you keep all rights and control of it. If you hook up with someone like JConcepts and allow them to sell it also, it would probably be less. After that point, it is just making them and marketing and packaging them. It is the initial cost that is hard to recover from as the lexan isn't super expensive compared to the price the market dictates for bodies. If you make one that people want, you will recoup your investment probably in 6 months to a year.

I would imagine you could get it done locally also and maybe they won't think the cost to produce a mold is as high?

I see you are in Australia. Contact VP Pro or Caster in Asia and see where they send you. Both are involved in manufacturing of that type.
