Went down to Portland, Or for the first round of the Pacific NW Showdown. While there a young and talented driver caught my attention. Watching his Dad Wes and him work together throughout the event really impressed me. I decided this was a racing family I wanted to help support. So, I would like to welcome Epic 1 Designs first sponsored driver, Elijah Gibbs.
This 14 year old has been racing about 3 years. He loves the competition, ability to meet new people and travel to new places that is allowed by this hobby/sport. He has won two oval dirt track series championships at Dave's Offroad in Hubard, Or. with his Stock SC and Stock sprint car, while putting down new track records. He took down the win in Stock SC at the 1st round of PNW showdown when I meet him. He also had a very impressive 5th place finish in the ultra competitive stock buggy class at the Showdown.
He will soon have a fresh set of shells along with a new scheme.
So with help from Epic 1 designs and help from Ken Root and Top Gear hobbies this young racer is about to make a statement in the NW rc world.

Just wondering what red you used in post 30 Greg Jones's bodies? It looks good I like how deep red it is and looks close to or maybe the same as the red I have my bodies so I was just curious. Great work by the way for just the little bit of time u have been painting u do a great job..
