Default Compressor to use?

What is recommended when it comes to compressors? I know it has been recommended to use the TC-20T but what about tankless compressors? Are they ok or is there a big disadvantage?

Thanks in advance

I would like to hear some feedback on this also. I am thinking of buying the tc20 and was also wondering about the tankless.

I use a senco which is ultra quiet

you can also use the ones home depot and lowes sell for around 100 bucks

the ones harbor freight sell are junk

these are reg compressors

I never had luck with compressors like tc20

So tankless or tanked? Still confused. I went ahead and ordered my first kit and the people at TCP Global told me if you were painting a lot and used the compressor daily they said it would be too much work for the tankless. So they would recommend a tanked unit. However for the hobbiest like myself they said it would be fine to run the tankless because I would only be using it when painting my own stuff. It kind of explained it to me so I hope it helped someone else. I think I will be fine with the tankless for now. I have no intentions on painting for others right now. Shoot I haven't even painted for myself LOL.

I bought one of these for $40 new off ebay and put a moisture trap from tcp global on it. Its a bit loud but works great. I built a cabinet around it with carpet inside to absorb the noise. Helped alot.
