Default Candy Apple Red ???

I want to do a Candy Apple red paint with gold flames, is there a good spray or even bottle that is not to hard to use?

I have an airbrush but not that good with it so kinda hoping for a good spray.

Also would I back that with silver or white?

Thanks

Well Pactra and Spaz Stix make Candy Apple Red in rattle cans. I would use the Pactra Indy Silver to back the candy with. Use the candy for what it's meant for. All its going to do is be a different shade of red it you back it with white. The Spaz Stix seems to have a little bit more orange to it than the Pactra. The Pactra is more along the lines of actual red. Just mist on the coats. Take time to build it up. 4-5 light coats then back it with the Indy silver. You could actually back it with the Inca Gold from Pactra. It will give it a little bit of a deeper color.

Awesome...

Got that in my cart now just need to add the gold. I like a deeper red as opposed to the shinny red/pink color I've seen.

+1 RCS Candies. They spray very smooth. Backed with chrome is hot.

I have to go with RCS as well. I only had experience with water based paints and little experience with an airbrush when I used the RCS candies and it went on nice and smooth. For best result back with chrome then water based black. RCS also has a nice chrome paint.

Because I'm the pusher man? Haha
Or because they are actually only available in airbrush jars?
Haha

Don't forget there's a difference between transparent and candy.
