I'm curious what models of Cricut you guys are using. Could you post up which one's you have?

Us cutter dot com has good cheap vinyl cutters (plotters) and they actually have great customer service and helpful support staff. I have the sc series cutter and it was only like $299.99 but when you factor in buying software to design your art and accerories like a stand, blades, and vinyl your hitting closer to the $800-$900 dollar range.

btw regular vinyl is not recomended for use as a stencil you need to buy stencil vinyl for cutting logos and designs. the other stuff will leave residue behind.

There are several interesting options between which I now choose for myself. This should be good for you.

I started vinyl cutting two years ago and love it, I do all my stickers and stuff for my automobiles, and for others, and do t shirts. Just purchased my first airbrush and plan to try using the vinyl cutter to make some designs to spray into my bodys.. I have a bigger cutter its a SC2 and it has worked great but time to time i wish i also had a smaller craft cutter for doing smaller stuff i waste a ton of material cause its hard to get my machine to cut much smaller then about ten by ten inches or so.
