Default Circle cutter - yes/no?

Do any of you pro body guys use a circle cutter to cut your wheel wells? Just curios if it's worth $10 - especially for thicker .060 bodies.

Thanks!

You only need the cutter to score the lexan, not cut all the way thruough.
Once it is scored, you simply peel out the waste area.

I freehand cut all my bodies. It's close enough. It seems the touring car crwod uses the true circle wheel opening more than anyone else.

Yep totally agree with Dave, I do alot of touring car bodies and cut every one with a circle cutter, in my opinion it gives a much better finish, as Dave said its not to cut the wheel area out, you just score it and peel. Works perfect in my opinion, definately worth the money

I got mine cheaper from a hobby/ craft store.

if the body is flat it will work, I've had problems when there is contours, or the body flexing and the the beginning and the end of the cut don't intersect. I now cut donuts out of vinyl stick them one and cut around the vinyl as a guideline.
