Default Painted Bodies on a Budget

I have been painting bodies now for about 8 months and I love doing it. I started out just doing them for myself, then a few guys asked if I would do one p for them. After a while it gets a little expensive buying bodies, plus now I have bodies everywhere. So I started painting them with the mind set to keep the prices very low so I can get all the practice I want. So with that in mind I would like to put something together for all you guys out there that want a painted body but are on a budget. Like I stated before I am not as good as say WED, jon mills, Monster Painting or any of those guys. But that is why I can keep my jobs at a low cost FOR NOW, so if you like what you see shoot me a PM and let's get something started.

PS. By the way guys (WED, Jon Mills, Monster Painting and the others, thanks for your inserations and all your help. Also I am not doing this to under cut you guys I just want to practice and you guys know those bodies are not cheap.

Thanks for looking,
Ed

oohh..i got a mentioning cheerz buddy.

lookin good bud. good way to get some practice indeed. i know what ya mean, i spent quite a bit on shells to start with for practicing. when you feel you have improved to a certain level you have in mind and/or the demand for your work increases then you can raise your prices accordingly.

best of luck, have fun and keep the air on!

jon

Default On A mission

After the post that was up for a few weeks with the guy wanting a body painted for $50, knowing none of the amazing paints will do it for that I thought I would get a lot more hits for wanting some bodies painted. But so far just a few. Come on guys I don't think my paint jobs are that bad, give me some work.

Those look great! What set up are you using, air brush, paint, compressor etc?
I've only painted about 4 bodies for myself but and can see that my designs are getting better.

Default Equipment

I am using a Iwata Eclipse HP-CS airbrush and compressor. As for colors I use createx, fascolor and spaz stix. Thanks for the complements, I am really trying and having a lot of fun.

Looking good, thanks for the mention!

The wood grain is my fav so far.

Now someone just needs to start a high end paintjob thread for those looking to spend $200 per paint job, lol.

Just start charging $200 and if (you insert the % here) of your customers go away, but you make the same money per year, that's a good thing!

Look for somemore paint jobs. Get your new paint designs for the 2011 season and those going PNB show off your talent with a new body.
