Default Fascolor Glitter

Anyone use the glitter before? I was told to mix it into the paint or into the clear color and then spray. Any hints/tips on how to properly use it? Can it clog my airbrush?

Thanks,

Buddha

I've used it, great effect.
I don't mix it with the color tough. I mix it with Faskoat, one jar of glitter, one bottle of faskoat, mix it and spray it at high pressure. I use something like 80psi with a Faskolor F1 airbrush.

YES, mix it with faskoat and clean your airbrush immidiatly after finish.
Good luck.

Thumbs up

I've used it mixed with faskoat, looks great. I clogged 1 of my nozzles with it though. I went out and bought a super cheap (under 10 bucks) external mix airbrush at a local auto store that I use just for sparkles. I've never tried mixing with a color but I've been told that it doesn't work very well.

Buddha, the FasCoat is designed to dry quite quickly. It is GREAT for use as a backer coat on a nitro body. That said don't let the FasCoat sit around too long. I had to throw away 7 different colors of glitter mixed with FasCoat.
