The Faskolor acrylics are formulated as an airbrush paint, so you shouldn't necessarily need to thin them for your standard painting projects. If you are needing to do specific effects you can cut the paint with water, but I only ever do this if I'm doing freehand detail, or an opaque or pearl paint is being particularly ornery.

Cheers and happy painting!

Default Red paint, pearl and fasecent

Hey guys, I have these Faskolor red paints and find they are too pinky. Is this the way they are made? Is there a way to make them a deeper red and get rid of the pink shine?

Thanks.

I'm about to paint a body.
I'm going to be using Faskolor for the first time.
Can someone give me some tips?
I have an Iwata Eclipse BCS.
What pressure should I be spraying at?
I run nitro cars, so should I back the paint with something when I'm done?

I did just order a Aztek A7778 Metal Airbrush along with some Faskolor paints. Anyone who have any tips in shooting Faskolor with this brush?
I got a tip of another guy to thin them with water to a milky consistence to get the best result. Does that sound alright?

I have the Aztek - A4709 set.
I was looking for a new brush to replace it.
I didn't really like the feel of my plastic one.
Let me know how you like your Aztek.
