Default HOW DO U PAINT SMOKE

Hey guys and gals how are we all??? I have a question i been thinking bout a killer paint design for a new shell that i need help or advice with and thats painting a smoke effect so like the title says how do i do it

only thing anyone could say i would think, would be to look at refference pics. thats yer best bet!

apart from that, all i can suggest is a mixture of freehand and sheilds.

or i guess, for more puffy/billowing smoke, the use of cotton etc. similar to how one might approach painting clouds.

try holding the body above a candle, i bet that black soot would stick and look like smoke after u back it with something else
