Default is this a good compressor

This is the compressor i have. I think it works fine. But since i don't know any better i would like to ask some of you. It worked great with my masters airbrush. I just ordered an iwata eclipse.

This compressor is ok right?

I am a little upset because the tc-20 was only like 20$ more, don't know why i did not get it. And I know everyone likes those.

what do ya think?

That little unit should work fine for you. At .6 CFM you don't want to add any more hose than the stock 6' plus airbrush hose.
I use my work compressor (not from Home Depot) so I really have to crank it down.
PSI doesn't mean as much as CFM when choosing a compressor.
(Maybe that was Senco they make a pretty good unit)

what does cfm mean? cubic feet per minute or something? Would you have to have a tank for it?

yes cfm means cubic feet per minute,in laymans terms, its how much air is getting blown thru the hose.

the correct definition is how much gas is passing one stationary point in one minute.

in air brush the volume is crucial. ill let the airbrush experts talk now

so is .6 good?

It worked ok with my master with a .3 nozzle. it would get clogged sometimes when i would switch colors (createx) and i didn't thin it.

I just bought i iwata eclipse and it has a .35 nozzle and i bought the .5 as well

I should be good right?

http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=90168 i bought this and its great not real noisy and when i do a lot of painting the reserve tank keeps the motor cool by not running all the time i thin my paints and run pressures from 20 psi to 40 psi but mostly around 20 and if its the eclipse bcs model i think it comes with the .5 needle in it
