It really depaends on the method of masking you are using.
If you use the factory pre-cut masks in the bag, you can just draw your window trim design right onto the mask before you stick it inside the body. Then cut the lines you drew with anXacto knife.
If you have access to transfer tape, a low-tack vinyl tape, you can precut the trims and transfer them into the shell.
If you mask with masking tape or liquid mask, you have to cut both the outer line and inner line of the design with an Xacto after the body is masked.
Practice and careful patience will allow you to get straight, parallel lines.
