Default paint sticking problem

I use fastkolor paints and i have been having a problem with the paint coming off with the masking i use. so i have to go over the lines i have already cut and cut the paint so it dont peal off just to get the tape off the body to spray the next color.

so i guess my question is why is it doing this and how do i stop it?

i also have the same problem with the fascote clear when taking off window masks

Spray lighter coats and dry them completely between coats.

Use a r/c heat gun or a hairdryer to help the drying. Waterbourne paints have got to be dry.

I agree with Dave.
Thinner coats will help with your paint coming up when removing the masks.
As far as the faskoat goes.....
You will have to cut it in the areas it covers your masks. The FasKoat simply goes on so thick and when it dries it creates a protective type skin over the area it covers. If you dont cut it then it will remove paint around the masks if not more!!!

It is best to spray the FasKoat as your very last step so you have little or no cutting to do!

The only way around not having to cut after spraying the FasKoat is to remove the masks while the FasKoat is still wet. This will however require you to spray a even thicker layer than you normally would, depending on how big of an area you are trying to cover.
