can someone tell me what to do about paint chipping really quick on offroad bodies im cleaning and scuffing but chips after three or four races

What type(s) of paint? Waterbased or lacquers? Spray can or airbrushed?

Usually too heavy a build of coats makes for easier flaking. Or inadequate curing between coats. Many waterbased paints need heat to properly bond them to the plastic.
