Questions?? any tricks on removing parma's fastmask???

you know, the liquid mask????

i did the entire SC10 body, instead of just spots and using masking tape for the rest...

now, i have to SCRAPE off the thing, instead of just peeling off...

sigh...

help.... lol...

Means you coated it too thin. I use an different brand we get here in Australia but the results are the same when you apply one or two thin coats then paint over with spray cans or any solvent based paint cause they can break it down a bit.

I learnt the hard way that you can't skimp out when applying it. I generally have to apply two nice thick coats with a brush then it peels off ok but if it's not thick enough it's a real beotch to remove and goes all powdery.

Once you get the hang of it you'll never go back to masking tape.

I read somewhere here to put it in the freezer for about 5 minutes. I tried it with a buggy body that was entirely covered in it and it almost fell out! Might give that a shot.

too late...

i took out the body outside and used the garden hose...

it took most of the stuff off. the rest were loosen up.

the painted parts were not bad affected.

Green 3M masking tape will yank it right out of there...next time it happens.
