Default Painting plastic

Got some Tamiya wings I want to paint, but not sure how to go about doing it. What's the best process to paint plastic?

I should also add that I'll be using gloss paints, to match the body. Do I need to sand and primer before I spray on the paint? Or is there another way?

Depending on the color, I just paint the base coat and put a clear coat on top. Make sure you scuff and wash the plastic first.

Thanks. Do you use enamel or acrylic paint?

I mostly use Auto-Air Water-Borne paints.
