Has ayone tried something like rubberized asphalt undercoating to protect bodies?

I might get some and try it. It might strengthen the lexan, too.

I do that on all my 1/8 bodies and it works like a charm. I go to autozone and buy the rubberized undercoating and go to town.

Sorry for the thread re-hash but I've been trying in vain to find this stuff in Canada, it just plain doesn't seem to exist here. Been to 2 Walmarts, Canadian Tire, Rona in person, and searched the websites for Lowes.ca & HomeDepot.ca, nobody has it. Getting frustrated driving all over tarnation and back and nobody has it.

Can anyone in Canada confirm where Rustoleum Crystal Clear Enamel can be purchased, or what's the best alternative?

I just pick this stuff up at Walmart-
http://www.amazon.com/Krylon-51301-A...dp/B0009X8LZ4/

Most places that sell spray paint will have some kind of clear acrylic top coat spray.

Awesome, thanks. I saw that there but wasn't sure about it when I didn't see "plastic" specifically indicated on the can. This stuff is about half the size and twice the price of a large can of Rustoleum Crystal Clear Enamel, but hey, we Canucks get raped all the time anyway.

P.S. True about the clear acrylic, but the Rustoleum is an enamel, and I wanted to be sure I was using something that wouldn't eff up my 5 nights' of work doing 2 bodies. There's no room here for guesswork.

If you're asking me, about the Krylon Crystal Clear, I would say it dries even faster than that when using a hair dryer between coats. It felt dry enough to the touch.
