Default Chrome Paint?

What is the best chrome paint to use and where to get it? Also what is needed to clean the airbrush after spraying the chrome? What paint would be the best backing for the chrome.

Spazsticks and allcad make great crome. I only use spazsticks crome in a aerosol can. Acetone should clean it right up if you get the kind for an airbrush. Back it in black for a dark crome, and white for a brighter crome.

I've tried the House of Kolor chrome when I've gotten free leftovers from classes I've taken. Its great... but $50 a pint.
I think the Autoair does a pretty decent chrome that is less difficult than some but its really more of an alluminum effect. (the fascolor's almost as good but the formulations of Autoair spray better)
I've used Alsa corps in some Killer Cans, rattle can formulation that they gave me. Out of a gun it may be okay but the rattle cans suck especially for the price.
Heres where it ended up:
At a distance it reflects well.

But up close:

Mottled and galvanized looking. I followed their directions and tried calling for tech support, what a joke.

Default chrome

tell him to try to paint the chrome LAST if possible. It tends to attach it's self to tasking material and some of it could be pulled off if not careful when you remove the tape etc.

Default chrome

Alclyd chrome it come in the glass bottles A main LHS may have them too. I use this only. The spray can is not my preferres choice unless its 100+ degress outside!!!! clean the airbrush with laquer thinner only it does not take much but it is the best way. Spray a coat of black to back it for the best effect. Darrin @ BCG
