Looks good to me!

You will discover that there's only about 2 races difference between a basic paint job and a great paint job anyway!

Just did a quickie so that I will have it for this coming Sunday. One of these days I'm going to learn to drive, that way I won't have to constantly paint new bodies.

I think thats a fine shell. Its an excellent first shell. I think the stickers look fine too, but if you dont like them, peel them back off.

Default My newest shell

I stuck with my old trusty Pegasus 'stang for over a year (until the windows nearly fell out). Here's my new Camaro:

Does anyone know how I can get my hands on the new, thicker HPI AAR Cuda body?

Mail order companies are burning off old stock and local hobby stores can't guarentee the new body if I order from them.

Via Part# would be the best way. I would use somebody that you could talk on the phone with so they know you want that body specifically via that part #.

Some of us lucky ones got to test a Cuda shell that was pulled from the lexan that HPI uses for the truck bodies. I would say that it retains 98% of the sharpness of the original is WAY more durable and weighs about 35 grams more depending on how you trim and paint it. Most folks have to add more than that to make weight anyway. I took the one I have to Nashville for everyone to inspect, back at the Endurance 500 lap race. At the time HPI was looking for some feedback on the Cuda. Would you rather have more detail, more durability, etc.

But I havent heard anything from HPI about it going into production.

Andy h is the guy on here to ask. He checks in now and then.
