VTA shell for Chris Williams. Can't wait to see this one mounted up!

Very nice.
Is this based on a car that actually existed? (just curious. there were so many cars that ran back then)

Not sure about if there was an actual car but I did find a matchbox car that I used for inspiration.

My new body and color scheme. I think this is going to be my team colors for a while. I switched from running a 'Cuda and I turn better laps with this one. I don't seem to be clipping the corners as much since it is at least a half inch narrower.

This is the car lineup for the USVTA class that raced at The Grove in Rock Hill SC yesterday. "Concrete-Palooza" We run USVTA as a breakout class so the lap times don't match the USGT class since they are so close.

That Pepsi Firebird is based off of Tiny Lund's NASCAR Grand-American series car from the early to mid-'70s.

I don't know about Lund's, but for sure like Lennie Pond's 54 car

Almost finished body. It's for my gf. It's painted silver inside and olive drab outside except for the hood which is one coat of bedliner , when the paint get scratched on the outside it will show silver.

The olive drab Mustang would look awesome with circle/star decals on the side instead. It would have the look of WWII P-51 Mustang fighter plane. You can get those decals for R/C planes. Here is an example of the decal (http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXGRX6&P=7)

Here is a photo of a Mustang for an example:

Yep.

You're correct, Joe.

However, Dewayne "Tiny" Lund (who was all of about 280 and over 6'4"), *did* pilot a Pepsi Camaro, albeit with a bit of a different paint scheme.
