Pete, I think your son is doing a very good impression of BAIN from Dark Knight Rises! He just needs to skrunch his eyebrows a little more.

Moose are you using fronts on the back? You should be closer to the fender well. Nice job by the way. I also liked the link for the inspiration.

Yea, fronts on the back as well. The VTA tires dont hook up at our local track, its smooth concrete and he doesnt allow any traction compound or tire attitive. The only tires that work are HPI pirelli's and they only come in the 26mm width.

Yokomo has some wheels called watanabe's that look a lot like the eight spoke vintage HPI rim. They are standard 26mm but are available in different offsets so you can fill your fenderwells. Just a thought so your club can keep the look. I have been thinking about building a USGT car that looked VTA.

Very cool paint job IndyHobbies, I'm loving the orange and white, the white wheels especially set it off Been looking for the white stock car rims but no one seems to stock them.

+1. I thought they only made those in black and they really look good here.
I'm glad you picked a better orange than the true UT color.

Looks good Jerz.

Isn't that the 54298 TAMIYA left hand cockpit?

Did you have any fitment issues?

Yes it is. Not really. its a little narrower then the interior of the camaro, but i just put some plastic on the sides to fill the gap. The rear goes over the body post ok, but it sits a little high and makes the rear of the body sit higher. I just cut out a little from the bottom of the cockpit and pushed the body down firmly and it sits good now.
