The guys who love VTA, I think a lot of us were very tired of the easter egg paintjobs that you see on touring cars. Not that they dont take a lot of talent. Its just that we have seen so many they just dont do anything for us anymore even if they are great paintjobs. Then you find something simple like a gunmetal Camaro with black stripes and it just works.

I know I talk too much.

You know that shell was great and that race was great and that day was great. I am glad I got pictures. I should have come prepared to race but with the three man teams and being 2.45 hours away. IDK I just couldnt get it together.

I like the idea of themed touring car races. VTA being the most prolific in the US. Love RCGT as well, and I would like to see other TA races like a GTU class using m-chassis wheelbase cars like the Cupracer. That would look great with an alpha Romeo shell on it and do some Datsun 240z and Skylines.

The Enduro thing you guys are doing is great. I like the loosened body rules, just for that race and I guess you guys are going for a thousand laps now? In the time it takes you to get a thousand laps I might be able to get 620 or so. LOL.....ahhhh sad but true, and laughing is better than crying.

Can this week get any better for VTA bodies?

First Protoform releases their Javelin, then HPI reveals a new 1970 Boss Mustang!! Two of the iconic Trans American cars can now battle it out on an R/C track near you.

I am loving all the new canvas coming out to paint and there is so many different paint jobs that you can do on that mustang and javelin .

I think there is only one more coming from HPI... the other I eluded to was the Protoform Javelin.

Thumbs up

Yah, this one and one other.

This should be a nice shot in the arm for VTA racers everywhere, and should be a new draw to people who have been watching and waiting for a reason to join in the fun.

That J71 was needed.

You know when it comes to shells we are a hungry bunch. As soon as a new shell is released we say wow and Yippie kay aye for 2 seconds and then we turn around and say," Hey Andy what else is coming out thats new?" but in the last few months HPI has added another Camaro (2 counting the modern one) and today makes the second new stang from HPI in a very short while.

Would like to see a 70 Camaro and Trans Am.
