awesome videos man... i don't have an airbrush yet but i'm definately thinking of getting one. i have just one simple question... how do you mask the flames on that body? is that tape that you cut with a hobby knife? or is it "pre-cut vinyl"? (i have no idea what that is)
thanks

You will need a moisture trap for condensation and a hose. You might want to invest in a quick connect as well. I have personally never used an Aztek, but i highly recommend an Iwata over anything else.

The masks are pre-cut. You can also cut teh pinstripes with an xacto knife, but i didnt show it on the video. I will show another one very soon.

Just like any paintjob, i would go very light coats until you get the desired effect. I would never spray heavy off the bat. If i were to do a half fade(half of your canvas), i would go one pass up to the half way point. Then go a 2nd pass up to the quarter point, then a third pass up to a 12th point. See how it looks, then start over if needed. Hope this makes sense.

Cool videos on You tube. Learned alot.
Are there any vids on masking....like how to use the liquid stuff...how to setup your airbrush correctly etc. etc.
I am very new and not very artistic. I have an older Badger air brush...it only has the button, but not the trigger.
Any way, enough of me rambling.
Thanks for the Vids!!

Charlie B, I just watched your vids on you-tube, and I have learned alot. I do have a few ?'s for you. Do you use laquer or acrylic paints? I tried to use some Faskolor tonight with my Axtec airbrush with the tips for the acrylic paints, but it seems that the paint comes out very spattered like. I tried changing the air pressure up, then down, and also tried thinning the paint with distilled water, but have had no luck. The final results apear to be like a fine spatter. Any advice would be gladly welcomed. Thanks.
