Default outlined flames

how could i do like a flame outline like if it was just a thick line of the flame. i want to do soemthing like that. could i do it with a mask i.e. not liquid mask. i will b using cans if that matters.
like the one attached

why not?
just cut out the lines if you want to paint the lines first (ie deeper colors) or cut everything else except the lines if you want to paint the lines later (ie lightler colors)

what i use is pin-striping masking tape.. its very thin for detailing. works well and goes around corners easy. that way to don't have to worry about cuttin a straight line. Do that then peel off the Flame mask and paint that then peel off the outline and paint that.

ooooooooo so likie outline the mask-then remove the mask-paint main body color (or outline depending on color)-remove tape and paint the outline area-correct?

thanks a lot spitfire and fire-i think im gonna go with the tape idea but ill keep the liquid in mind.

i dont think it will be any time soon-just like future planning type thing. but i will for sure when im done
