It is pactra candy red, I made sure to get good coverage to try to down the transparency, then I backed it with a coat of the gunmetal color that I had custom mixed, then added a touch more candy red into the brush, and a splash of black and backed it with that. I really like the color it came out, I just hope I can duplicate it on another body.

Default LOSI 8T 2.O

Hi Guys, here's my first attempt at airbrushing. There's tons of mistakes but I sure learned alot from them. The truggy is an electric conversion so I went with a Tronish circuit board look and a power indicator in the back.

I got the side pattern from a buggy somewhere in this forum. I tried looking for it again but I couldn't find it. Anyway, I just wanted to thank the person who came up with the original design.

Very unique design. It's pretty complicated for your first airbrushing job, but I think it turned out good. Did you photoshop two pictures together, or did you actually paint two of the same bodies?

Thanks for the compliments Scott. Well, I've been lurking around here for some time so I got a lot of inspiration. As for the design, I got tired of looking at flames and since I have an electric conversion, I thought I'd come up with something a little different for a change. I know what I wanted it to look like but I can't draw so I just started taping the body criss - cross and stood back to see if it looked ok.

As for the photo, I took it with my old casio exilim camera that has a double exposure effect.

I thought it was photoshop too... or other photo editor because you can see where the two pictures blend... line of the table.

Cool work!!!

Too bad Losi precuts the bodies for you. That engine hole is going to look a little funny with no cooling head sticking out of it. The design is perfect for electric though, as it reminds me of a circuit board.

Very nice, different!
I guess you did not get the memo for mandatory flames, with a blue main color and orange yellow and white, along with some checkers somewhere?

lol
