Shoutout to Sk3tch for the breakaway idea....
So what brand was the chrome paint ? Did you put it through an airbrush or spraycan. Its the cleanest chrome paint I think ive ever seen.

I mixed the gray a little too dark for my liking, but overall, I'm happy with it. First time using an airbrush and liquid mask, I learned that thicker is better.

It is Alclad, and was shot with airbrush. 3 very thin coats, then backed with Faskolor FasBlack.

Thanks for the compliments...I really like the way it came out too!!

Oh yeah...make sure if you shoot this stuff that you utilize a good organic respirator. I am so used to shooting Waterbased that I forgot to grab my respirator...I was shooting in my open garage with a large fan evacuating the space, and three hours later my chest was hurting....will not make that mistake again!!! This stuff is nasty!!!

LOL....I know that feeling Schwarz.....I used the Alclad II Chrome paint before, and I remember I had to shoot it at 15 psi as well.....and it smelled like rubbing alcohol...LOL...Now the Alclad II Prismatic paints I shot at 30 psi, and came out awesome!!....I used Scarabeus and Sapphire....Sweet Colors!!.....

Here's one I painted this past weekend. It was based upon a real car that's currently racing seen on the www.GOAPR.com website. Its sure not a scheme I would have ever thought of, and this version is much simpler than the real one. I got to see it race on Sunday around the track and it looked great!

Its all Faskolor paints. A little faux carbon fiber on the hood and rear quarter panels.

I always forget to put on my mask. I remember what color I painted the day before by what color I blow my nose...lol. That shell looks sweet by the way.

I did this one for myself. Its a Protoform LTC-R body mounted on my TC5. The class is 17.5 brushess. Faskolor paints throughout. I like them bright for my gettin' older eyes!

One more for a local racer. 3rd try at drips, they are a lot easyer when you use a brush for the hi-lights.

Following the buggy shell on the previous page, I followed it up with a touring car... It was going so much better, but I still learnt alot by doing this one, what ya think? Only just started airbrushing really.
