I suspect he was just joking around. Should have put a smiley on it.

But if not, ghosting things is nothing new. What blows me away isn't the concept (I'm not normally a fan of ghost things, I like contrast) but the execution. The colors, details and shading are absolutely perfect. Truly exceptional work.

Thankyou for your feedback,

I'm sure I'm not alone in saying I paint from both my own inspiration as well use inspiration gained from others. There are many times when I paint and there might be a little bit of Roly, WED, Larry, Shop UFO and many other inspirations in it. I never claim anyone elses work as my own and on the other side of the coin I am really humbled when I see someone using something that I have done as their inspiration.

On the other person they are known for comments that are not meant in a joking manner,

I was hoping this thread was to help us less creative with ideas. I like a tc5 paint job by a German that I want on my rc8be and rc8t. Does permission Ned to be asked since he lives approx 4000 miles from me?

Theres some awesome work on here, I think believe that you only learn by trying to imitate others work and most people would probably be proud that someone likes there work so much the want it as well.

On that note heres a body I just did based on the old protoform Nemisis bodyshell design

I give credit to people that inspired my design out of courtesy... Even though most of the time it is not a direct copy. I don't think permission really needs to be asked though.

Ultimate pigdog...That came out good!

Default TC3 with Parma 34 Ford Truck body

I got the 34 Ford Truck body done and mounted on my TC3 Chassis. Perfect fit!

I used Faskolor Faspearl Black and neons for the flames. The Faspearl black really looks more dark chocolate brown.

HPI Vintage wheels and tires.

Love the look! Nice Hot Rod!
