Default AUTO AIR

SPEEDO

Bond All has nothing to do with it splattering on contact..you should think about how you are spraying...is it cold when you paint? are you using enough air pressure? are you shaking the bottle before pouring it into the cup? are you shooting straight from the bottle or are you adding anything to it? is your airbrush clean? is there and airleak on the hose or fittings? make sure yiou check everything and try it again...also, how long has the bottle been sitting on the shelf? there could be many reasons why it is doing that...i cn not, however pinpoint what the problem is..but at least now, you have something to go by. For Createx/Faskolor paints, i usually go 40PSI with a minimum of a 2.5mm needle. If you are using a Superfine or a Micron airbrush, you might have a problem getting the thick paint to flow. I hope this helps a bit..the only time i EVER have a problem with Createx pains is when it has sat on my shelf for over 6 months!

cheers!

Charlie, I sprayed it the same day it came in the mail. I tried thinning it a little. I was spraying around 20psi, becaues with the parma I found that to work well, so I assumed this would be the same. I have an Iwata eclipse CS airbrush, and had just finished cleaning it rigorously. Maybe I should try higher pressure/

Thanks,
josh

I just cleaned my airbrush with the createx airbrush cleaner and that stuff is awesome. My brush has been sitting with paint in it for two weeks and the paint just runs out of it with that cleaner. Ive used denatured alcohol, water, laquer thinner, and acetone and that cleaner works the best. I picked it up for only $1.25 for a 4oz. bottle.

Modena Al: I can screw up bodies too, sometimes in a major way. Sometimes you can learn tricks to save it, or do some major rethinking of the design midway... or just secretly toss it in the "bad bodies" bin!

charlie_b: that's HOK silver flake backed with Createx Pearl Silver and white. I'm messing around with mixing the two together, and seeing how it holds up. So far so good.

...here's another "Skullmaster":

Jack Smash: I recently found that hot water really helps to clean the water based acrylics out your airbrush (as your painting).

For those of you interested in airbrushing, I suggest you take a look at HauntedMyst's painting article we just posted up on R/C Tech. There are some great tricks and tips in it for different kinds of effects you can easily do with an airbrush.
